History

Vienalco was founded in April 2010 after the strategic reorganization of Alcan International Network's European semi-finished product division. As a result of the seamless transition, we were able to continually support our existing customers and suppliers, providing them with the high level of service they have become accustomed to.

The semi-finished metal sales activities in Austria and Eastern Europe date back to the early 80s under the company Pechiney World Trade (through the Austrian branch office of the former French industrial PECHINEY Group), which has been taken over by the Canadian ALCAN Group in 2004.
